Camping and NC Zoo

We went on a wonderful camping trip with some fantastic friends the weekend of November 5-7th.  We stayed at the Badin lake primitive campground for the weekend.  The weather was cold for our 1st camping experience with Ashlynn but she handled the cold better than all of us.  The whole weekend was so much fun.  We love spending time with Amber and Garrett.  Don and Garrett are master fire builders.  The whole weekend was so much fun without the conveniences of everyday life.  On Saturday we enjoyed a cool day at the Zoo (much better than in the summer).  Ashlynn LOVES the zoo so when we left we purchased a membership so that we can go anytime in the next year fro free that includes the NC Aquariums plus zoo's and aquariums all over the U.S.  Overall, the weekend was so much fun and I cannot wait to go camping again and take Everett when he is a bit older.
