GOODBYE 2010 AND WELCOME 2011

WOW another year gone...Where did it go?  It seems like days, weeks, months, and years fly by so much faster when you are an adult.  I cannot believe 2010 is already behind us and we are looking at a whole new year and a whole new start.  I love to start fresh each year and make goals (I don't do the typical New Years resolution like lose weight, clean more, work more, etc.) however, I do like to make lists of things I want to accomplish this year. I work hard at crossing off items on my list, however I refuse to beat myself up over those items that do not get accomplished.  2010 did not come with may goals (not that I did not have any) it was we came off such a tough 2009 that we looked forward to a better 2010.  We really had a fantastic 2010.

In 2010
  • Our handsome son turned 1
  • Our beautiful Ashlynn turned 3
  • Don received a raise at work
  • I joined Mops and Junior Women's club which really gave me a lot of positive activities to partake in.
  • My bow business really took off this year and for that I am truly grateful
  • We went to visit and reunited with my father's side of the family.  It was amazing to see my Aunt Kat, Uncle Jimmy, cousin Amy and her children, cousin David, etc.  It really was a great start to the summer.
  • Everett started the 18mth/2yr old preschool class.  Ashlynn went on to the 3 yr old preschool class.
  • Don became the co-leader of the teen youth group at our church and that has been a blessing to become apart of the wonderful teens in our group.
  • Everett learned to walk and talk!!!
  • The biggest blessing that has happened in 2010 is that Don reunited with his father and the Small side of the family.  It has been wonderful getting to know everyone on the Small side of the family, they are kind, accepting, and very sweet!  Don has really loved having his father, uncles, and grandparents in his life.  I look forward to seeing what the future holds for them as a family.
2010 was a good year for us and I am excited to see what 2011 holds in store for our family.  Soon I will post what goals I have for 2011.
